NATIONAL VOTERS’ DAY AWARENESS PROGRAMME
In observance of National Voters’ Day, an Election
Awareness Programme was conducted on 23rd January 2026
by the NSS Committee to emphasize the importance of
voting in a democratic nation. Dr. N. Gobu, Principal,
addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of
elections, stressing the need to obtain a Voter ID and
exercise the right to vote responsibly.
Voters’ Pledge and Civic Responsibility
Following the address, Dr. R. Rajesh, NSS Coordinator,
administered the Voters’ Pledge, which was solemnly
repeated by all students and faculty members present. The
pledge reinforced the commitment towards ethical voting
practices and active participation in the electoral process.
The programme successfully sensitized the participants to
their civic duties and encouraged informed and responsible
participation in elections.
