Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Program
The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, through MY Bharat,
has initiated the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Program (VBYCP), a flagship national
initiative aimed at empowering youth and aligning them with the developmental vision
of Viksit Bharat@2047. The program seeks to create awareness among young citizens
about their role in nation-building and to provide a structured platform for meaningful
engagement with national development goals. This initiative reflects the vision of the
Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who consistently emphasizes the
importance of youth participation in shaping a self-reliant and developed India. By
collaborating with higher educational institutions across the country, the program acts
as a bridge between government initiatives and the student community.
Impact and Civic Responsibility
The Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Program was successfully organized by the NSS Cell
of the institution. The session aimed to sensitize students about the MY Bharat
platform and encourage their active participation in civic engagement and
volunteerism. The resource person for the program was Mr. Logakarthikeyan S, who
delivered an informative and inspiring presentation on the objectives of MY Bharat
and the roadmap towards Viksit Bharat@2047. He highlighted the importance of youth
leadership, digital participation, and responsible citizenship in transforming India into
a developed nation.
The program was presided over by Dr. N. Gobu, Principal, who addressed the
gathering and motivated students to actively involve themselves in national initiatives.
He emphasized that the youth of today are the architects of tomorrow’s India.
The program was coordinated by Dr. R. Rajesh, NSS Coordinator, who ensured the
smooth conduct of the event. The session was hosted by Subhasri and Riya Angelina
(B.Tech AIDS – I Year), who served as the anchors and guided the proceedings
effectively.The event included a welcome address, lighting of the lamp, a presentation
by the Youth Icon, an interactive “Yuva Samvad” session where students shared their
ideas and queries, followed by a vote of thanks and the National Anthem. The program
witnessed enthusiastic participation from students.
Through meaningful dialogue and awareness about the MY Bharat platform, the
program strengthened the spirit of volunteerism and civic responsibility among
students. It concluded on a positive note with a renewed sense of purpose among the
participants to contribute towards building a developed and self-reliant India.
