Republic Day 2026:
Honouring the Constitution and the Nation
Sri Ganesh College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry, celebrated
Republic Day on 26 January 2026 with great patriotism and enthusiasm.
The programme was organized by the NSS Unit, with active participation
from faculty members and students. The celebration began with the
hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National
Anthem. Dr. M. Karunakaran, Vice Principal, delivered an inspiring
address emphasizing the values of democracy, unity, and national integrity
enshrined in the Constitution of India.
Patriotic Moments at SGCET
The Republic Day celebration concluded on a dignified and patriotic note,
fostering a deep sense of national pride and civic responsibility among all
participants. Through inspiring speeches, cultural programs, and
enthusiastic involvement, the event highlighted our democratic values and
