Intercollegiate Fest Celebration 2026
Sri Ganesh College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry, successfully
hosted Dungeons & Dragons ’26, an intercollegiate fest organized by the
Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The event brought together
students from various institutions, creating a vibrant platform to showcase
intellectual, creative, and collaborative excellence. The fest was inaugurated in
the presence of the esteemed chief guest, Mr. R. Thiyagarajan (M.Sc
Mathematics, M.Phil), PA to CEO (Secondary), CEO Office, Cuddalore, whose
inspiring presence set the tone for a day filled with enthusiasm and
innovation..
The success of the fest was guided by an esteemed panel titled the “Wizard of the
Council,” comprising experienced faculty members who served as judges and
coordinators for various events. The panel included Dr. M. Karunakaran, Dr. R. Rajesh,
and Mrs. R. Pratheepa for Paper Presentation; Dr. N. Gobu and Dr. K.R. Sugavanam for
Stress Interview; Mr. V. Gunalan, Mrs. Radjeswari, and Mr. Santhosh Rajan for
Debugging; Mrs. K. Pooni and Mrs. Manimegalai for Rangoli; Mr. Dyanithi, Mr.
Iyyappan, Mr. Manikandan, and Mr. Balaji for Carrom and Chess; Mr. V. Gunalan for
Treasure Hunt; Mrs. K. Gnana Valli and Mrs. G. Valli for Trash to Treasure; Mr. R.
Ranjith, Mr. M. Balaji, Dr. G. Gavaskar, Mr. M. Iyyappan, and Mr. A. Dyanithi for
Memes, Photography, and Video Editing; Ms. Kaviya K and Ms. Atchaya S for Quiz and
Aptitude; and Mrs. P. Suganya and Ms. Suriya for Face Painting. Their guidance
ensured fairness, quality, and the smooth conduct of all events..
The winners of Dungeons & Dragons ’26 truly embodied the spirit of the fest
through their outstanding performances. In Carrom Doubles, Ajineesh (EEE – II
Year) and Chandru (IoT – II Year) secured the winner position, while Hariharan and
Ruthraeswar (CSE – I Year) were runners-up. In the girls’ category, Pavithra and
Vinolya emerged as winners. In Chess, Harsath (AI&DS – II Year) won the first
place, followed by Akash (CSE – I Year) as runner-up. The Treasure Hunt winners
included Goverthan, Vignesh, Mugunthan, and Kumaran, who demonstrated
excellent teamwork and strategy. In Face Painting, Jayasurya (AI&DS – II Year) and
Harish Raj impressed with their creativity. In Photography, P. Ezhil Vendhan (II
Year, AI&DS) secured the winner position, while S. Rokesh (I Year, CSE) was the
runner-up. In the creative category, Pochet Jenifer Marry (II Year, AI&DS) emerged
as the winner, with Monisha (II Year, CSE) as runner-up..
Adding to the glory of the event, the Overall Trophy of Dungeons & Dragons ’26 was
proudly awarded to B.Tech AI&DS – II Year, recognizing their outstanding
performance across multiple events and their consistent excellence throughout the
fest..
